Our community is saddened to lose a long-time summer resident, Jane Bowie Keoughan, who died suddenly on January 12th while on vacation in California with her husband, Paul Keoughan. She was just 65 years old.

Jane first enjoyed Kye Bay as a toddler in the early 1950s with her grandparents and parents, Bob and Morag Bowie. Every summer since then she, along with her siblings, delighted in sharing the family cottage. Jane loved the sand, the sun, and the ocean and in recent years could be seen swimming and playing happily with her grandchildren.

Jane leaves her husband Paul, siblings Ian Bowie, Betty Lund, and Doug Bowie, daughter Jennifer Fitzgerald, and precious grandchildren Jessica, Rachel, and Tyler Fitzgerald.
